This town is located several kilometres northeast of Bastogne.

This German panzer is a panther tank (PzKpfw V Panther, Ausf G). It carries the number 401. It was left up side down in the river after the battle.

Monument
On the other side of town, on a square near the Tourist office you can find this monument. This monument was placed in memory of the connection between the 1st Army coming from the north and the 3rd Army coming from the south. They connected on January 17th 1945 in this village. On the monument several units have placed a plaque. The 84th Infantry Division, 2nd and 11th Armoured Division and the 17th Airborne Division.
