Corporal John E. Shields from Ripley NY, USA belonging to the Co. C 23rd Armed Engineer Battalion, First American Hero killed in action in the village of Melines on December 21st 1944 at 7 a.m., Belgium



The grave of Major P.H. Lawless, War correspondent for the Daily telegraph who died on 9th March 1945 at the age of 53.

The grave of Private P. Mc Carthy, Parachute Regiment Army Air Corps who died 4th January 1945 at eighteen years old. He is buried at Hotton War cemetery.
